“Isabel has been teaching my 5 year-old daughter piano since she was 3 years-old, and began formally teaching my 3 year-old daughter this past summer. She is remarkably good with small children, and working with them she has already taught both of them not only how to play piano, but solid music theory (notation pitch and duration, dynamics, etc.) such that my older daughter now composes simple pieces (with help to write things out) that she can then play back from the sheet music. Isabel comes to our home consistently and reliably, and has the connections and knowledge to help arrange more formal group recitals (our older daughter has played a handful at several locations in Manhattan and our younger daughter is excitedly preparing her first performance piece). I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
